Welcome to our 11 Questions series where we ask random Storm Cloud clients 11 questions that dive deep into the core of who they really are. We love Brienne’s answers (even though she cheated on a few). We hope you enjoy:

Meet Brianna (Brie)!

Brienne Blackledge is the Practice Administrator at Joplin Urgent Care & Southwest Missouri Wellness Center. She has been married to her lovely husband Scott for almost 10 years, and they have 3 wild, witty, funny, and adorable girls Austyn (8), Landry (6), and her tiny one, Raleigh (4). Between her little ones, and being the administrator of two medical offices, Brie is always on the run. When she is able to sneak away and do what she loves, travel (you’ll learn about one of her favorite places to visit a little later on), she also enjoys spending time with her family at Beaver Lake unwinding from a long week at the office.

What services do you utilize the Storm team for?

General life-saving! The Storm team created and maintains our websites, as well as our online scheduling system, and they also handle our digital advertising. I may also occasionally beg them for tech support. They are my go-to for any tech/online questions that are above my head.

If you could have lunch with one celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I’m going to cheat and name one couple instead of one person. Short backstory: I spent several years involved in professional wrestling. Random, I know. Anyway, I would sit down with Linda & Vince McMahon. They created a global empire and kept it a family business. I would love to pick their brains.

What is one thing you couldn't live without and why?

Coffee! I’m told it’s a problem, but I ignore that. I don’t need that negativity in my life.

What is one piece of advice you would give someone who is interested in pursuing a career in your field?

Create a team you can count on & trust. The success of a business relies on a TEAM of people with the same understanding of a common goal. Communication of expectations is KEY!

Who has been the most influential person in your career and why?

Dr. Murphy. His knowledge in healthcare, business, and finance has been an endless treasure trove of information. His foresight and drive to learn are unmatched. He is constantly reading and researching. His drive to educate himself and others is a rarity. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to learn from him and integrate my personality and compassion with his knowledge.

Who is your favorite Storm team member? And Why? (We won’t tell!)

Oh geez! I’m going to cheat again. Tony is the person I communicate with most. He is so accessible and quick to get the ball rolling. Dustin is always so personable and willing to help people with no background in marketing understand it. I’ve recently been communicating quite a bit with Shane on a project. He’s been so patient and has really put effort into understanding what I am asking and getting it correct.

What song is currently on repeat for you?

The song I listen to most is Golden Slumbers by The Beatles. My littlest baby and i sing it at bedtime every night. Otherwise, my musical library is all over the place. I love all kinds of music.

What are you most looking forward to for your business in the coming year?

I look forward to learning more about our patients’ needs and using that to create experiences and information that will change lives for the better.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to and why?

Scotland, hands down! Prior to going, I would have never imagined falling so in love with it. There is a small town there called Pitlochry. It’s become my mental escape. It’s like walking through a painting. I also loved Edinburgh. The scenery, the history. Also, seeing several inspirations for JK Rowling was a bonus for this Potter fan! I can’t wait for the opportunity to go back.

What are your Top 3 favorite movies

Of all the questions, I struggled so hard with this. I love movies! Picking 3 is next to impossible.

  1. Gentleman Prefer Blondes
  2. The Birdcage
  3. Pretty Woman
  4. Shawshank Redemption
  5. Tombstone
  6. Dirty Dancing
  7. Old School
  8. Cry Baby
  9. Best In Show
  10. Wayne’s World

SO MANY OTHERS!

What is the most important lesson you have learned at your job/business?

The show must go on! Life, business, and people will always throw curveballs. You can either attempt to dodge them and get hit, OR you can take charge and swing. Even if you miss, you’ve learned for next time. I’ve learned the invaluable lesson that growth NEVER occurs in comfort zones.
