Behind the Scenes

We don’t do senior pictures – we just don’t. In all of the craziness through the years, the topic of senior pictures hasn’t even come up… until recently.

When Columbia Bicycles was invited to The TALK on CBS as a featured product, they jumped on it and asked Storm Stanley to come along. I mean, we had to really think hard about whether or not to go—just kidding, we were giddy children. Over the week that we would be in LA, we would interface with the show’s production staff as a representative of Columbia, and we wanted to take the opportunity to get some different scenery for product photos and videos. We got it.

2016 was one heck of a year! A lot of people, and businesses, are just glad it’s behind them. But for us, 2016 was pretty darn amazing! We’re so proud of our team and what we accomplished in 2016 that we wanted to revisit some of our most favorite and kick butt projects and to share them with you! So, yea, 2016 was pretty good to us, and taught us that we are kind of a big deal – and this video proves it! Now, bring on 2017!

We’ve already shown you some behind-the-scenes details on the production and special effects of this commercial for Downstream Casino Resort, and now it’s time for the finishing touches. No amazing video is complete without the sounds that bring everything together. This is where the “sound captain”, Matthew Stanley, comes in. In this BTS video, he will take you on a tour of the sound effects that brought this project to life!

By now you’ve probably seen (or at least heard about) that awesome new commercial that someone produced for Downstream Casino’s New Year’s Eve Party, and wondered how in the world they did it. Well, it’s your lucky day, because that someone was us and we’ve revealed some of the secrets behind this wicked cool project in this behind the scenes video!

We had a blast at the 2016 Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet! We’ve had the pleasure of working with the Chamber to develop videos for the event every year. It’s a mad sprint of day-long shoots and overnight edits (thanks Red Bull), but it’s always well worth it to be a part of such a great event.
